Jeff qualified with a medium sized Central London firm in 1979, and spent 3 years working in tax with Touche Ross. He also spent some time in the tax department of Blick Rothenberg & Noble, before branching out into Practice. He joined Jones & Partners in 1984 and has seen a number of changes in the 30 years since he first joined the firm. He is now the Managing Director of Jones & Partners Limited following incorporation of the business on 1 June 2012. Jeff has a wide range of experience in most areas that a general practitioner might be expected to have and has worked with both small and large clients from a number of sectors on a variety of tax and financial matters over the years. He has extensive knowledge in most aspects of accounting and the tax issues that are current and in particular where they relate to Real Estate matters. He has extensive experience of working with both overseas individuals and corporates, dealing with tax and financial matters as may affect them in the UK. He acts for clients from every one of the continents of the world. One strength, that Jeff believes is important to recognise is knowing your own weaknesses and failings. However, where the firm might not be able to give an answer to a client query, his extensive network of contacts will lead to finding the right person to deal with matters professionally and efficiently for his client …. In such cases, he prides himself on having a reputation as being a facilitator of solutions handling the issues that clients just do not have the time to address themselves in an age where there are such pulls on all of our time, leaving his clients free to get on with their business.
